Santiago Villamil, a physical therapist from the USA, joined ANF Academy to learn ANF Therapy Education in 2017.
Today, Santiago is an ANF Instructor and teaches ANF Therapy Education to other healthcare professionals worldwide.
How does it feel to be back at the ANF Academy?
I’m so grateful to be back. ANF Academy is like my second home.
How so? Many ANF practitioners said the same. Why do you feel like ANF Academy is your second home?
Everyone is so friendly here. It feels like family. You need to be here and experience it to understand why it is like a second home.
What did you learn through ANF that no other tool/therapy showed you?
How frequency medicine affects the nervous system and how the human body actually works.
What would your practice be like if you didn’t have ANF in your toolbox?
It would be limited in the way that I can serve my patients, and I would not be able to facilitate true healing and wellness like I am able to with ANF in my toolbox.
What do your patients say about ANF?
They love it! They are surprised when they see what kind of results they can get.
Being holistic means I can positively influence their lives and decrease their pain which most medical professionals and hospitals can’t. And, of course, without side effects.
How would you describe patients’ compliance with treatment?
They are very compliant because the whole process is effortless for them.
They show up and allow me to find the root cause of their issue, then I make a personalized protocol and apply ANF devices.
The most important thing which my patients need to do is to drink plenty of water.
Of course, I use my physical therapy skills, as well, to advise them on what kind of activities to do or avoid, or what kind of rehab they need.
The most important part is to allow the body to heal. Avoid pushing to the limit all the time.
I want my patients to heal and improve their quality of life.
Can your patients experience pain reduction within the first treatment?
My goal is to reduce pain by at least 50%. It can be better than that if I find the source within the first session.
Is there any difference when treating chronic and acute pain?
When treating acute pain, let’s say my patient is an athlete, it is straightforward. I can reduce pain pretty significantly.
However, I always inform them that even though I decreased their pain and made them feel better, that doesn’t mean they can go back to their active lifestyle and push limits straight away. Healing takes time.
And treating chronic pain takes even longer. Most of my patients today suffer from chronic pain/conditions. I believe that says a lot.
When you use ANF devices as your main tool in providing pain relief, can you provide desired results faster?
Absolutely! ANF devices are by far the main tool I use in my clinic.
As a physical therapist, I have different methods to make my patients feel better, but with ANF, I know that I’m truly restoring their neurological function and repairing neurological signals that optimize the body’s functions.
ANF devices are the best medical devices in the world right now. That is my opinion because of patients’ results.
Tell me about a case scenario that used to take a long time to achieve the goal, but after using ANF, you are able to obtain the desired results much faster.
I would say frozen shoulder. It used to take 6-8 weeks see clients’ results. However, with ANF, I am able to increase their range of motion (ROM) and decrease their pain in minutes.
How do patients find you?
For me, it is ‘word of mouth. My patients recommend me to their friends, relatives, etc.
ANF has been life-changing for me as a business owner. It helped me become independent, open my clinic and help people in pain, the way I wanted to.
It is just a tool. You won’t lose all skills you acquired through the years. But it will allow you to work better, and your patients will be more compliant because they can see quicker results and know they will heal.
As ANF devices are easy to apply, it isn’t time-consuming, so they can focus on their priorities.
Winter is coming. Besides the flu, people are afraid of new viruses. How can you, a physical therapist, strengthen their immune system with ANF?
One of the most amazing things that ANF has done for me is that it has given me a wide variety of ways to help my patients.
I only have a few orthopedic patients. I know it sounds weird.
Most of my patients have chronic pain or have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, autoimmune diseases, or cancer…
With ANF, I can help people heal.
It is not just me or devices. It is a combination of the ANF Education, applying the ANF devices, and patient compliance.
There is no better solution for people in pain, especially because there are no side effects.
Also, now I get to spend more time with my patients and apply methods I believe are best for them.
Why did you become ANF Instructor?
I feel my calling in this world is to participate in healing humanity.
When I started my ANF Education and saw the potential of ANF Therapy®️, I knew I wanted to dive deep into this knowledge.
When I was presented with the opportunity to join the team of instructors, I gratefully jumped on the opportunity.
What would you say to therapists that still don’t use/or know about ANF Therapy®️?
It is the future of medicine.
We, healthcare professionals, have had the wrong approach to healing for a long time. I don’t even call it healthcare. I call it sick care.
